What is the maximum legal dose of Adderall?
60-80mg/day (depending on who you talk to). And that’s a pretty insane dose IMHO. I never needed more than 45mg/day and that’s to be totally tweaked-out all day. Of course, I’d take another 15mg (split up) if I wanted to go through the night too, and then maybe another 20-30 mg to get through the next day after the all nighter. But that’s 80-90mg to have me on an almost-too-strong Adderall buzz through two days and a night without sleep….cramming that same dosage into a normal 14-19 hour day seems ludicrous to me and I can’t believe they write scripts that big. If you’re taking 60-80mg a day, you’re taking too much. I don’t care how much you weigh. That’s beyond unhealthy. Personally, I think about 30mg a day split up as 15/7.5/7.5 was the most effective for me. Or if I was really going hard I’d do 30mg in the morning, then a 7.5 in the afternoon and MAYBE another 7.5 after that if I really wanted to push the limit. But that wasn’t even a limit.
