What is the maximum height for heavy duty mobile scaffold in construction industry?
Heavy duty refers to the weight bearing capacity of the scaffold. Standard limits for heavy duty scaffolding is 75 lbs/square foot. As far as height restrictions, If the scaffold is greater than 3′ wide, then the scaffold has to be guyed, tied, or braced in every 26′ vertically and every 30 horizontally. If it is less than 3′ wide, then it has to be guyed tied or braced every 20′ vertically with the same horizontal distance.
