SKF SYSTEM 24 LAGE filled with grease can be remotely mounted up to 3 metres (10ft). This is depending on ambient temperature and the grease type. Oil filled SKF SYSTEM 24 LAGE lubricators can be remotely mount up to 5 metres (16 ft). For oil filled lubricators, a non-return valve (LAPV 1/4 or LAPV 1/8) at the lowest point of the tubing is also required. The maximum length of tubing is limited by temperature and the back pressure created by the application. Shorter feed lines are more favourable than long. It is not recommended to remote install SYSTEM 24 LAGE when the ambient temperature (for both the tubing and lubricator) is below 0 °C (32 °F). Ensure that the feed lines are already filled with lubricant before starting the lubricator.
