The current limitations with the Elphel 353 are 100Mbit for Ethernet and around 150Mbit as CPU bottleneck. The datarate can be scaled freely by setting MJPEG compression to any value between 0..100%. The next generation Elphel 373 camera will feature Gigabit Ethernet and remove the CPU bottleneck.
