What is the material used in dental bonding?
The composite resin used in dental bonding is comprised of plastic, along with various fillers and modifiers to add strength, durability and perfect color matching potential. Bonding material is not as translucent as the dental porcelain used for veneers and crowns, but it can be very well-matched to your natural tooth color. A slightly different form of dental bonding is used for white fillings.
