The master cleanse is also referred to as “the lemonade diet”. It was originally created by Stanley Burroughs well over 50 years ago and it continues to be used today. The master cleanse is NOT a fat loss program. Although you will lose fat while on the program, it’s not intended to be a fat loss program. It is intended to be an “internal body cleanse” that removes all sorts of crap (pardon the pun) from your body. To be specific, you lose mucus, waste, disease, and a whole lot of water. In addition, it eliminates and dissolves all types of fatty tissue. The results of this diet can be quite dramatic; however, you can expect to gain half of what you lose back quite quickly. Again, this is a CLEANSE, not a fat loss program. As always, consult a physician before trying this, especially if you’re diabetic. Remember, I’m not a doctor. I’m simply sharing what I have learned.
