What is the Marymount Manhattan community like?
Marymount Manhattan College, originally established as the city campus of Marymount College, Tarrytown, NY, is a small liberal arts college located on the Upper East Side of New York City. MMC consists of two buildings on 71st Street in Manhattan between Second and Third Avenues, filled with study lounges, science labs, classrooms, studios, galleries, computer labs, club meeting rooms, performance venues – the works. Due to its small size, working relationships between faculty, staff, and students are very personalized, with a student/faculty ratio of 15/1. Only faculty members teach small classes never graduate assistants.
