Although the MSBA submitted an MCLE proposal to the Rules Committee in 1995, it has since then adopted a different position on MCLE. The MSBA conducted an online survey of its membership in November 2009. Although 70% of the respondents did not support an MCLE requirement, of those respondents who are admitted to states with MCLE, 44% thought that they have benefited from the other state’s MCLE requirements.
