What is the market for the Heavy/Light base oil finished products?
Normal industry compound/blenders produce many lubes and greases with varying formulations. Virgin base oil refineries produce base oil with standardized specifications and viscosities. Compound/blenders purchase these base oils based on the product they are formulating. The used oil collected, processed and separated into a heavy and light cuts by our process will have certain specifications. It is the specifications of the finished used base oil in which the compound/blender is interested. Based on that specification, he will be able to determine what additives he must blend with the oil to produce a product he can sell. One of his considerations will be the used oil’s viscosity and noack volatility. The base oils produced by our process are clear, bright and demonstrate excellent characteristics of virgin base oils in every category. Most compound/blenders are capable of making a licensed lubricant product readily marketable for them.
