The Marin Community WiFi Network is a group of people who are atempting to build a city wide, wireless computer network. The network consists of interconnected “nodes” owned by members of the network. There are no transit fees to access this network. We will be using off the shelf networking equipment that complies with the 802.11b protocol (we will also use 802.11a, 802.11g, etc.
