The Map Overview function has been produced to help facilitate a users search and identify their required location when they have no specific search criteria i.e. if a user doesn’t have a postal address or a map/grid reference. By ‘Drilling down’ from a map of Northern Ireland, the Map Overview allows users to initially use an approximate judgement of the required location and progress from this to a more detailed and accurate view. Users will be able to utilise three separate views: Initial, Intermediate and Detailed.
