What is the management structure and approach at Quintilian?
The body ultimately responsible for the school is the School Council, which is comprised of elected parents (6), the Principal, an elected staff representative and up to two co-opted members. Supporting the Council are several sub-committees, namely Finance, Site, Education, Health and Safety, Information and Communication Technology, and Fund Raising. The Council seeks input from staff and parents prior to introducing significant change. The Council sets overriding educational and associated policy, approves and monitors financial decisions, employs staff, oversees the development of the side, monitors the allocation and maintenance of resources (both human and physical), and ensure that the views of the full school community are sought and understood as changes occur.
