What is the main thing Oxford University Majors in?
Please ignore ‘Dalli the lama’. Oxford IS the top university. No question about that. There’s no harm in aiming for the top because if you don’t aim for it, you’ll certainly never get there. It’s not just a tourist attraction – Sure it’s a pretty place that people like to visit but that’s besides the point. It ‘majors’ in all academic subjects and has a strong English department. Many famous authors and poets studied there such as W.H. Auden and T.S. Elliot. A friend of mine applied for the English course at Cambridge and part of the course meant that you had to study an old language like old English so do your research on what each course involves before applying and good luck!
