What is the main theme of the poem “Dancer”?
The main theme in “Dancer” is about a man who is a dance but dose not make much money and is unable to keep hold of any women. Though he was able to entertain people with his wonderful talents of different styles of dance he was still unable to make much money. And any women he would get he was unable to hold on to because they would all leave him for not having enough cash. “When your no good for dough they go.” (20) its saying in here that the only way that he is going to be able to keep hold of a girl is bymaking some “dough” if not then all the women are gonna go.
