What is the main religion in Peru?
Peru inherited its religion from the Spanish Conquistadors; that is why 75% of Peruvians are Catholic. But along with Catholicism, there is a native religion based on the cult of the Sun, Pachamama (Mother Earth), and the elements of nature in general. The experts don’t agree on whether these two are very different religions or a combination of both.
