What is the main functionality of the TAMS clock?
TAMS clock is designed to allow employees to clock themselves in and out using their keyboard, a scanner or the IBC J reader. This clock requires the employee to enter or scan his or her badge ID#. Based on the information set up in TAMS, the clock checks if the number exists. If a schedule is assigned to the employee, then a schedule check is also performed. A message of confirmation or rejection is displayed on the computer monitor. Depending on the number of clock ins/outs per workday, TAMS saves the data using the computer date and time as clock in or out. This information can be viewed instantly in the edit form, and reports.
