What is the main difference between Wildfire and other P2P file sharing protocols?
A. Wildfire is different from the popular P2P file-sharing protocols such as those used in Napster, Kazaa, and Morpheus in that these P2P protocols were intended for one single purpose: to share files such as MP3’s, documents and spreadsheets. In contrast, Wildfire is not a file sharing protocol. It is a private and secure general-purpose communications protocol that may be used for full duplex voice, movie and music distribution. It also can be used for file transfers and text communication tasks such as private chat groups and instant messaging.
