The eMapping basic application does not require a plug-in to view maps online. In order to access eMapping advanced maps, you have to download the eMapping plug-in (mapguide viewer). eMapping advanced maps provides online users with more tools and functionality to interact with online maps. If you are a frequent user, you should download and install the eMapping plug-in.
