What is the Magic 8 Ball?
It is a black ball 4″ in diameter, which is designed to look much like the 8 ball from the game of pool. There is a flattened out area about 1.5″ in diameter which contains the window where the magic answers emerge. Inside the window is a mysterious blue liquid in which the answers, contained in a triangular shape, float to the top and appear. More importantly, this special flattened area allows the ball to rest on a flat surface without rolling around off onto the floor. By the way, the ball is made of a hard plastic and is very sturdy. How Does it Work? Well, a person asks the Magic 8 Ball a yes or no question, fondles the ball slightly, then turns it over for the definitive answer. Here is a list of all the possible answers: Signs point to yes. Yes. Reply hazy, try again. Without a doubt. My sources say no. As I see it, yes. You may rely on it. Concentrate and ask again. Outlook not so good. It is decidedly so. Better not tell you now. Very doubtful. Yes – definitely. It is certain.
