Macromedia Spectra uses a powerful content management model, the Content Object API, or COAPI, to manage dynamic content in Web applications. Macromedia’s goal is to make dynamic content technology like the COAPI pervasive, approachable, and cost-effective for developers. This spring, Macromedia announced plans to move a Java version of Macromedia Spectra’s core content management technology, the COAPI, to the next version of the ColdFusion application server.
