What is the Machinery Fault Simulator, or MFS?
The MFS is a portable machine that can be quickly and easily configured to simulate most typical machinery problems or faults. Some examples are resonance, shaft misalignment, rolling element bearing defects, rotor unbalance, bent shaft, etc. Kits can be fitted to simulate special issues such as gearing defects, centrifugal pump wear, etc.
