Use any standard grade of light weight, low viscosity lubricating oil for most of metals. For aluminum and magnesium alloys, a high- refined paraffin based oil of low viscosity oil work well. Cast iron can be roller burnished with out lubrication. Water soluble lubricants are acceptable.
