Should the contents in the property become damaged to such an extent that the tenants have to move out, the landlord can claim up to 30% of the sum insured to cover any loss of rent until the property is habitable again. We will also pay for costs incurred in re-letting. Alternatively we will pay up to the same limit for the costs of putting your tenants up in alternative accommodation until the property is habitable again (The tenant should of course continue to honour their monthly rental payment to you in this instance).
