What is the Los Angeles Premier date for the movie New Moon?
The date does seem to make sense in that it parallels exactly the timing of last year’s premiere. It also would be at the same location. Interesting side fact is that the premiere was initially booked at the famous Mann operated Grauman’s Chinese Theater, and then it was moved to the Westwood properties, so these things do change. There is no word as to premieres in other countries. Last year there were premieres in both London and Tokyo. As the Mann website states, they do not sell/give out tickets to premieres. That goes through the studio. Premiere tickets are usually only given to those directly involved with the film, their staff, and those with entertainment industry connections. So please do not call the theater looking for tickets. Last year fans were able to line the fringes of the red carpet. They camped out for about three days to do this. we don’t know whether that will be allowed again. Also, camping on street is subject to local ordinance. No word on how the local governi
As Twilight fans wait for the Twilight Saga sequel New Moon to hit theaters on November 20, the red carpet premiere of New Moon has been announced and will go down in Los Angeles four Twilight days before the official New Moon release date on November 16. Although the red carpet premiere of New Moon is still in the Twilight Saga future, it’s interesting to note that the New Moon L.A. premiere is the same day and location of the L.A. Twilight launch the year before where Twilight fans saw Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and the Twilight cast walk the red carpet. According to Cullen Boys Anonymous, the L.A. red carpet premiere of New Moon has been set for November 16 and will be screened at Mann Village Theatre and Bruin Theatre in Westwood, California. Since the New Moon premiere is being held at Mann Theatres, here’s a Twilight look at the Mann Theatre website for Twilight fans in L.A. who may want to catch a New Moon glimpse of Pattinson, Stewart, Lautner and the New
According to Mann Theatres’ website, the Los Angeles premiere for new moon has been set for November 16th. However, due to the long holiday weekend, there has been no confirmation from Summit as to the validity of this report. Originally, the film was booked to premiere in the landmark Grauman’s Chinese Theatre, but if this announcement proves to be correct, the event has been moved to the sister theatres, the Village and the Bruin, in Westwood. This move is plausible in that the size of the new moon premiere will be as such that two theatres, seating over 2000, would be more prudent than the smaller Grauman that only seats just over 1100.
