What is the Lords Supper? ?
The Lord’s Supper (also known as Holy Communion or the Eucharist) is a celebration of the Last Supper of Jesus and his disciples before the Crucifixion. Believers come together to “drink of his blood and eat of his flesh” for the forgiveness of their sins. Different churches have different beliefs regarding the bread and wine and how it represents and/or is transformed into the body and blood of Jesus.
The Lord’s Supper, is a protestant Blasphemy of not only the name of Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but also of his command and thus His postion as the word of God, and His Person. It is SYMBOLIC of what Jesus did on the cross for us. We take the bread in REMEMBRANCE of his body that died for us and the wine/juice is the blood he shed. No priest can magically turn the bread and wine into the actual flesh and blood of Jesus. Even if he could, what kind of people would want to EAT their Lord’s body and drink his actual blood (Roman Catholic Beliefs). It is meant to be symbolic to do in remembrance of Him.
