Crean on the par-5 ninth hole at Green Valley Ranch Golf Club in Denver July 4, 2002. Blame in on the thin air. Previous to that, Robert Mitera had the longest, a 447-yard ace on the 10th hole at aptly named Miracle Hills Golf Club in Omaha, Neb., Oct. 7, 1965. He needed some help, too.
