What is the long-term availability of ULSD?
As of June 2006, ULSD fuel will be available in most areas nationwide. It will replace current diesel fuel at that time. It is required to be used in buses and trucks built in 2007 and later. It is also required for use in buses retrofitted with diesel particulate filters. Because refineries are gearing up for nationwide distribution, its availability will increase between now and mid-2006.
