What is the London Retail Consortium?
Retail is vital to London and London economy, providing 9% of total employment and contributes 15.2 billion to London GDP. The London Retail Consortium provides a single voice for retailers – large and small within the M25 area. The LRC is a body dedicated to getting action for retailers in London. It was set up in response to the concern that more action was needed to limit the impact made by a series of major problems – from global terrorism to a general lack of confidence in the public transport infrastructure that have impacted on retail businesses.
