What is the Lobbying Code of Conduct and how does it relate to the Register of Lobbyists?
The Code underpins the Register by defining lobbyists, clients, Government representatives and lobbying activities. It sets out the requirements for contact between lobbyists and Government representatives and indicates what will be publicly available on the register and the conditions for successful registration of lobbyists. A copy of the Code can be downloaded from this website. If you are a lobbyist or a Government representative who may be approached by a lobbyist, you should download the Code and read it.
