What is the living expenses in Qatar if I have a family of two children?
We are living in Qatar with 2 kids… but ours aren’t in school. Check out www.qatarliving.com for some great info on expenses. Rent: 6000QR minimum to whatever insane amount you are willing to spend on a place to live… 6000 minimum will get you a small 2 bedroom. 9000 minimum will get you a 3 bedroom. Food: We spend about 500QR a week. Water/Electricity: for a 3 bedroom we spend 100-300QR a month, depending on how much we need our A/C! Phone: We spend 230QR month for basic phone line plus DSL. Everyone has a mobile, so you will need to buy one and pay depending on how many phone calls you make. Car: Car prices here are a bit higher than many countries and you will want a larger car to navigate the roads here.
