What is the little grey bulb hanging on the monitor and what is it for?

The grey bulb is a line conditioner and voltage regulator. We have built this feature into the AgCam to prevent the monitor from being shorted out in the case that it is wired up incorrectly (in the case of using the hard wire pigtail, if the positive side was wired to the neg. and vice-versa) or if the unit is hard wired to a power source over 12 volts. If you have done either of these things, and your unit is not working, you have probably shorted out your line conditioner, not the entire system, and it can be repaired here at the facility.
