The Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting has been designed to provide a balanced program of studies to meet the professional educational needs of people who want to complete the Certified Practising Accounting (CPA) program of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants (ASCPA). The course requires the completion of eight subjects. It includes up to five subjects taken from the CPA program required for the purposes of ASCPA qualification for full membership. The course is designed to provide students with the educational support for their CPA program. Students must enroll into the appropriate CPA segment with the ASCPA as well as with Monash University. Examination for CPA segments are undertaken with the ASCPA. Students undertake exams with the ASCPA. Results for CPA segments must be submitted to the relevant Course Administrator in order for it to be recorded as part of Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Accounting course.
