What is the link between CPD and Revalidation?
A – A core model developed by the Directors of CPD Group of the Academy of Medical Royal Colleges is the link between revalidation and CPD schemes which are in existence across the Colleges and Faculties. Revalidation will be underpinned by annual appraisal. At each appraisal individuals will need to confirm that they have met the requirements of their professional body’s CPD programme.
