When using the MH-C777PLUS with a 13.8VDC power supply (such as a car), the voltage range supported will be reduced to 1.2V to 4.8V for NiMH and NiCD battery packs and 3.6V to 7.2V for Lithium Ion battery packs. When powering the unit using vehicular power, make sure that the charger is disconnected when starting the vehicle. Failure to do so may permanently damage the charger.
