What is the likelihood of getting a room change?

0

You may put in a room change request, but realize for fall housing there are very few open rooms for us to change individuals into. It is even more unlikely for there to be an empty room to place two people together. Therefore, it helps if you ask your roommate to switch rooms with your friend whom you want to be your roommate. Also, you can ask your friend’s roommate to switch rooms with you. (When two students want to swap rooms, this is called an even swap.) Remember, incoming freshman are not eligible to get an apartment. It is unlikely a room change request will be granted before move-in. However, you still have a chance to change rooms on Open Room Change Day which is Wednesday, August 25 from 8AM to 4PM in the Student Services Building, Room 117. You will need to physically come by the Student Services Building with your Buzzcard and the person with whom you will be room changing. You may also come by to check to see if there are any vacant rooms.
