Obviously, the wear and tear to which textiles are exposed depends on a number of circumstances, including load factors, cleaning frequencies and methods, routing (long- or short-haul or charter flights), and the airlines cabin interior philosophy. This makes it impossible to quantify a life span. However, under the terms of our product warranties, Lantal does guarantee compliance with relevant specifications. For instance, all textiles for aircraft conform to CS 25.853 Appendix F Part I. with regard to flammability. Strict parameters and tolerances apply to smoke and toxicity, electrostatic propensity for carpets, and the dimensional stability of carpets and fabrics. Our products are permanently flame-resistant and meet Boeing and Airbus specifications and other official specifications if they are cleaned in accordance with our recommendations.
