The community edition of eFront uses the CPAL license (an OSI certified license) and it is an open-source project starting from September 2007. You can download the system and modify the source code as needed to fit your needs. If you build a solution that you want to integrate to the main open-source system don’t hesitate to contact us. The other editions of eFront are also offered with the source code but with different proprietary licenses. You can still change the code to fit your needs according to the provided license for commercial editions.
