What is the Library Birthday Program?
King’s Elementary School invites all elementary students to join in the fun of giving by donating a book, videotape, or audiotape to the elementary school library on their birthday. Scripture reminds us that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Students who participate in this program will select their desire to donate a book, videotape, or audiotape (science, fiction, etc.), and the school librarian will find a compatible selection, purchase the item, and place the student’s nameplate inside the book – a permanent record of the student’s generosity. All gifts are voluntary and tax‑deductible.
