What is the Liahona Self-Reliance Foundation Education Grant?
This grant is separate from the Yount program. It is funded by donations from generous individuals and by a grant from the United Way of Salt Lake. It is meant to be a supplement to other scholarships, grants and loans (such as the Yount loan) that you have. The grant will not pay all of your school cost. You will need to use your own money and apply for other sources of help in order to pay for all of your school costs. This grant may also be used by non LDS, non Hispanic women refugees and immigrants. Grants are gifts that do not have to be repaid.
