What is The Levity Project?
It is a social movement with the mission of fostering more playfulness, laughter, and buoyancy in our world. To do this, I blog here, give talks about it, and organize public acts of levity. The public acts are most striking because their goal is to infuse a location and the people in it with levity and laughter so that the shift in energy is palpable. And it is. When a group from The Levity Project enters a space doing a spontaneous Laughter Flash, an Umbrella Hat Freeze Party, or one of our other fun moments, what I always feel at the end, is that the world feels slightly different. “When we laugh, we change.
