What is the Letter of Introduction? Will a photocopy of my Letter of Introduction be accepted?
If your application for a IEC work permit has been approved, you will receive a Letter of Introduction from the Embassy of Canada in Berlin . You have to show this Letter of Introduction to the immigration officer at a Canadian port-of-entry. The work permit will be printed out at the port-of-entry to Canada and stapled into your passport. A copy/fax of your Letter of Introduction is sufficient. A unique number on your Letter of Introduction is linked to your personal information in an electronic file.
