What is the Letter of Intent used for and is it required?
The LOI is not scored, but we will NOT accept an application if an LOI has not been submitted by the deadline (TBA). All those who submit an LOI will receive a confirmation email and will be added to a listserv that will ensure equal access to all information regarding the application process. This listserv will be used by the Center for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention to send new information, resources, and news to applicants who have declared their intent to apply. In addition, your LOI will help the Center plan for the review process and other administrative tasks.
