What is the length of the DPT program?
• The program is a full-time only degree program, six semesters plus two summers. Students do not have the option of studying part-time. • Accepted students who possess a baccalaureate degree attend full-time for 3 years. • Accepted students who are Stockton undergraduates complete two degrees in a “3 + 3” model at an accelerated pace: this means 3 years of full-time undergraduate study and then 3 years of full-time graduate study. Completion of the undergraduate/baccalaureate degree is at the end of the 4th year of study. Some graduate courses may be applied toward the undergraduate degree. • Accepted students who are Stockton undergraduates must have successfully completed 96 undergraduate credits and the program prerequisites to begin the first year of graduate coursework in the DPT program; students who do not meet this requirement must wait another year.
