What is The Legend of Zelda: Collectors Edition?
The Collector’s Edition disc is a promotion disc given out by Nintendo to boost sales elsewhere, and contains four of the existing Zelda games; The Legend of Zelda; The Adventure of Link; Ocarina of Time; Majora’s Mask. It also contains a short demo of The Wind Waker and a small video about the series itself. Officially the disc was distributed with various offers such as subscriptions to Nintendo Power magazine, GCN bundles, or in exchange for Stars on the Nintendo UK VIP site, but these days you’ll probably need to look at auction sites like eBay or stores that trade in second-hand games to find a copy. It should also be noted that there are emulation problems with MM – not only are there sound glitches every so often, but several people have complained of random crashes throughout the game. Either way, it’s advisable to save your game as frequently as possible, to avoid having to do part of the game again. More detailed information can be read in jasonhill’s thread here.
