What Is The Legend Of The Loch Ness Monster?
The Legend goes that St Columba first encountered the monster in approx 563 AD. During a pilgrimage in Scotland he came across some locals who were burying a man. When asking about what had happened he was told of how a lake monster had attacked the man who was swimming in the Loch.The dead man’s boat lay on the other side of the water so Columba ordered one of his followers to go collect it. During the retrieval the Monster attacked once again.Columba commanded the beast, in the name of god, to return to where it came from, and it vanished leaving the swimmer unharmed.
