What is the League of Women Voters Education Fund (LWVEF)?
The League of Women Voters Education Fund’s mission is to encourage the informed and active participation of citizens in government and to increase understanding of major public policy issues. Founders of the League of Women Voters believed that citizens who have access to the facts on public policy issues and who know how to participate effectively will make wise decisions for their communities and their countries. Today, the League of Women Voters Education Fund’s work is guided by that same belief.
