What is the lead time for custom formulation?
This is a difficult question because formulations can actually take shape in a few weeks; but, the prototype may need adjustments to meet your sensory expectations. Some products require more time because “good for you” ingredients or “function” ingredients can sometimes be difficult to work with. There are other factors at play here as well. If Allen Flavors has to source exotic herbs or teas for example; the initial process might be delayed a bit.
