What is the LCM of 8 & 12?
24 In order to find the LCM, you should use a method. I’m saying this in case in the future, you have problems that want the LCM of more than one number. Write the numbers in a line. Look at the numbers. If there is any common factor in at least 2, divide the ones that are divisible by that prime factor by that prime factor. You write the quotient of the numbers that were divisible underneath them, and for the ones that weren’t divisible, you just write that number down again. You keep on doing that until all of the numbers don’t have any common factors whatsoever. Then you add the numbers on the bottom row and the numbers in the left column to get the LCM. That should help for all of your other problems reguarding LCM.
