The law covering payment by instalments is under Schedule 4, paragraph 7A(1) of the Betting and Gaming Duties Act 1981. This allows the Commissioners to make and publish ‘Arrangements’ that sets out the conditions for letting a person to pay duty by regular instalments on a 12 month licence.
