The latest international release of PGP for Windows 95/98/NT, MacOS and Unix is PGP 6.5.1i. The latest US release is 7.0.3 (Windows and MacOS), and this is the version you should use if you don’t care about the source code, or if you want the latest bug-fixes, as well as support for Windows 2000 and MacOS 9.
